Launched in January 2024 by the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR), the TRANSATLANTIC Project aims to boost cooperation with non-EU regions at a transatlantic level. The project focuses on developing the blue economy, green maritime infrastructure, and climate change adaptation through transatlantic workshops, capacity-building training, missions, and more. It nurtures dialogue and exchanges between Atlantic EU and non-EU stakeholders, particularly from Wales and Québec.

This first webinar, on June 21 2024, marks a significant step forward in our journey to advance the blue economy and strengthen the transatlantic cooperation between research institutions, ports, start-ups, SME clusters and regional authorities. Together, we are paving the way for a sustainable and prosperous future! Key outcomes from this webinar included the objective of building a robust network of stakeholders to foster collaboration at a transatlantic level, learning from each other to build transatlantic partnerships, and promoting a more collaborative blue economy.

We also focused on strengthening cooperation to deepen and multiply the value we are all creating.
