Today many Atlantic Regions have kept contacts at subnational level with their counterpart in America and Africa (see the CPMR Analysis “Analysis of the current state-of-play of transatlantic cooperation at sub-national level”). These relationships have been rather steady compared to current shifts of alliances at global level and EU level (withdrawal of the UK from the EU) as well as the escalation of trade tensions. However, these subnational cooperations developed at transatlantic level have not dealt much with the blue economy which yet characterizes the economic fabric of those coastal territories…
